Job Overview

Centurum is seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to support upcoming contract opportunities in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising configuration management issues, facilitating the Configuration Control Board, and providing change management and product configuration management guidance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing hardware inventory, documentation, and software configuration management
  • Defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle
  • Providing guidance on change management and product configuration management
  • Recommending improvements to existing processes
  • Overseeing the integrity and security of databases

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • 10 years of experience in configuration management, preferably within DOD
  • Ability to multitask and re-prioritize based on deadline requirements
