Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative will play a crucial role in assisting the Store Leadership Team in meeting all organizational objectives and strategies.

This position requires a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and proficient sales techniques.

The Retail Sales Representative will uphold company standards regarding merchandise presentation, restocking, and sizing while ensuring a tidy and organized store environment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer interactions and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance above other duties
- Welcome and engage customers, providing the appropriate level of service
- Clearly communicate the value and quality of our products while promoting current offers and suggesting alternatives for unavailable items
- Use sound judgment to address customer inquiries effectively
- Demonstrate proficient selling skills to enhance conversion rates
- Provide quick, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register while informing customers about the benefits of the PLACE Card
- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure representation of all sizes and styles
- Adhere to company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays
- Support and maintain a clean, organized stockroom while ensuring a customer-ready environment and complying with safety protocols
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks to meet company standards
- Protect company assets by following all Loss Prevention guidelines
- Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility requirements to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
- Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store objectives
- Exhibit flexibility by assisting with stock processing as needed

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional customer engagement skills
- Proven time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
- Capability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
- Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom; climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
