Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Clinical Operations to join our team at DelRicht Research. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for developing and managing a high-performing team of clinical operations professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and developing managers to contribute to sustained and exceptional site performance.
  • Site Management: Travel to sites under management, as well as study meetings, to provide hands-on leadership and support.
  • Performance Management: Implement and maintain a performance management system to ensure that team members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and fortify relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs) through creating and aligning on quarterly plans.
  • Financial Management: Conduct financial reviews with each PI to ensure that financial goals are being met and adjustments are effectively incorporated into operational plans.
  • Regional Growth: Lead regional growth development through leveraging strategic capabilities of sites under management in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify strategic clinical trial opportunities and align with resource allocation to optimize financial performance across all sites under management.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 4 years of progressive, demonstrable people management experience, inclusive of having both direct and indirect reports.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50% of the time to clinics in your region.
  • Medical Terminology: Possess general knowledge of medical terminology and a background in healthcare/clinical operations.
  • Goal Management: Experience managing goals and KPIs.
  • Education: B.S or B.A from any accredited university.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of physician management or transferable experience, 2 years of financial management experience over a larger site/facility, or multiple smaller sites/facilities.
