Job Title: Skills Trainer

United Cerebral Palsy Associations Inc is seeking a skilled and compassionate Skills Trainer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and patient individual to provide independent living skills training to our participants. As a Skills Trainer, you will work one-on-one with our clients to help them develop the skills they need to live independently.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized skills training plans for participants
  • Assist participants with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Provide support and guidance to participants in all aspects of their lives
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive support for participants
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid CDL and clean driving record required
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
