Valicor Environmental Services LLC is seeking a Manager of Solidification Waste Operations.

The Manager of Solidification Waste Operations is tasked with upholding the utmost standards of environmental safety and operational efficiency by effectively overseeing the daily solidification processes on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily Solidification Waste Pit (SWP) operations, including equipment and personnel management.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, addressing any safety and security issues promptly.
  • Guarantee compliance with all Environmental Regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Implement Quality Control/Quality Assurance measures for incoming solidification waste.
  • Provide operational support as needed.
  • Manage supply chain logistics to enhance delivery, cost-efficiency, and quality of procured materials.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing business cases for various projects (capital, expense, and staffing needs).
  • Foster and maintain customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure timely treatability testing and drive business growth.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
  • Work alongside the Maintenance Manager to ensure solidification equipment is well-maintained for dependable SWP operations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of management experience.
  • Ability to adapt between hands-on and strategic roles as needed.
  • Expertise in Solidification Strategies and Reaction Chemistry.
  • Proficient in enforcing company Health & Safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Compliance related to Solidification Operations and relevant regulations.
  • Experience managing industrial waste/wastewater and air permits, including RCRA and Waste Classification.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to effectively utilize computer-based management systems.
  • Skilled in coaching and developing team members across various performance levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Demonstrated ethics and integrity.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective budgeting and cost control abilities.
  • Experience in maintenance management.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-screening process, including a criminal background check, drug screening, and MVR check (if applicable).
