Position Overview

  • The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for providing front desk assistance and support under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. This role includes managing various coding and charge entry tasks while acting as a resource for patients within the Clinic Business Office.
  • Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent OR relevant experience. Experience: At least six months of pertinent office experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Not applicable.
  • Preferred Qualifications Education: Completion of a post-secondary program in business administration or medical office management. Experience: Prior experience in a medical or general office environment with a focus on customer service. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Not applicable.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient in general office clerical tasks and computerized office systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Competence in keyboarding and effective communication with patients and staff. Willingness to travel to other clinics or departments as required.
  • Physical Demands and Environment Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, remain seated for extended periods, and move about as necessary. The office environment typically has a moderate noise level with no exposure to hazardous conditions.
