We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of People and Culture. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a business partnership with hotel and restaurant operations teams to empower employees and champion our culture.
- Assist hiring managers in departmental recruitment and staffing, including participating in local and university career fairs, maintaining job postings within budget and staffing guidelines, and preparing offer letters.
- Partner with hotel and restaurant management on mentorship, counseling, and disciplinary matters.
- Provide HR support and visibility for the property, including conducting annual wage comparison surveys and managing financials and budgets for the People and Culture areas.
- Actively participate in weekly hotel staff meetings, daily line-up meetings, Executive Committee meetings, and departmental meetings as needed.
- 4 years of HR management experience in hospitality or a similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, task-management, employee relations, leadership, problem resolution, creativity, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and city employment and labor laws.
