The Overnight Restaurant Manager will address any challenges that arise, manage the overnight team, and guarantee adherence to all operational protocols.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Supervise all operational facets of the restaurant during the overnight hours, including staff oversight, guest interactions, and the execution of closing and opening tasks.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and guide the overnight staff. Conduct performance assessments and manage any necessary disciplinary actions.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure the safety and security of the restaurant and its patrons. Monitor security measures and respond effectively to emergencies or incidents.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Oversee the completion of nightly documentation, including inventory tracking, sales reporting, and staff activity logs. Ensure accuracy in all records.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and tackle any operational challenges that occur during the shift. Implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, health and safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with daytime and evening management, as well as other departments, to facilitate a smooth transition between shifts.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, including placing orders for supplies as needed and ensuring proper inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in a managerial capacity or a similar overnight role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
