Job OverviewPosition Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous IT Solutions Analyst to connect our organizational needs with effective IT strategies. The successful candidate will focus on evaluating business operations, determining requirements, and providing data-informed insights that enhance our technological framework and align with our strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Identification & Evaluation:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements, gather comprehensive specifications, and document operational workflows.
    • Perform gap assessments to pinpoint areas where existing systems fall short of business expectations.
  • Solution Development & Documentation:
    • Design and recommend IT solutions that fulfill business goals, enhance productivity, and deliver value.
    • Generate thorough documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user narratives.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist project leaders in outlining project scope, key milestones, and deliverables.
    • Track project advancement, identify potential risks, and facilitate communication between business units and IT departments.
  • Operational Enhancement:
    • Examine and diagram current business workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
    • Lead efforts to optimize business processes through IT solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing:
    • Coordinate and engage in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation evaluations.
    • Verify that IT solutions satisfy business needs and quality benchmarks.
  • Communication & Training:
    • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring effective and clear communication.
    • Deliver training and support to end-users regarding new systems and procedures.
  • Data Evaluation & Reporting:
    • Examine data to provide insights and recommendations that aid in business decision-making.
    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of IT initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience as an IT Solutions Analyst or in a comparable role.
    • Experience in business process modeling, requirements identification, and solution development.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Expertise in business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
    • Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).
    • Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) is advantageous.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
