Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN - Part Time Nights

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna policies
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs and goals
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
