Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Quality Patient Care: Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, following a developed care plan and physician orders.
- Assess and Document Patient Needs: Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies to promote healthy outcomes.
- Current RN License: Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Experience: Six months of recent experience as a licensed nurse in a clinical care setting, with a preference for home health experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving and conflict resolution, good organization and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
