Position OverviewRole: Licensed Clinical Therapist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and determine the comprehensive health care requirements of clients within their familial and community contexts.
  • Analyze psychosocial elements associated with the patient's condition, care requirements, treatment responses, and adaptation to therapeutic processes.
  • Formulate a care strategy in accordance with physician directives, ensuring achievable and measurable objectives in partnership with the client, their family, and the healthcare team, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Execute care plan initiatives focused on treatment objectives aimed at fostering independence for the client and their family.
  • Act as a resource for staff development and training, and engage in case discussions as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited social work institution recognized by the Council on Social Work Education.
  • Licensure from the Maine Board of Social Work: LCSW, LMSW-CC, or LSW is mandatory.
  • Current CPR certification is essential.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a master's level social worker in a healthcare environment.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
