We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Response Coordinator to join our team at AMR. As a critical member of our emergency medical services team, you will play a vital role in responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, providing medical dispatch instructions, and ensuring the timely transport of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process emergency and non-emergency calls to determine the type of assistance needed and dispatch resources in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of accountability and professionalism while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Provide medical dispatch instructions in accordance with the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch standards.
  • Track and enter data for emergency and non-emergency calls using a computer-aided dispatch system.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to dispatch appropriate resources to community members in need of assistance.
  • Facilitate the timely transport of patients in our interfacility market.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of emergency dispatch, medical, or telecommunications experience, or a minimum of 2 years of high-demand customer service experience.
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
  • Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess strong typing and data entry skills.
  • Computer experience sufficient to use multiple systems and applications after training.
