Emergency Response Coordinator

As an Emergency Response Coordinator with Global Medical Response Inc, you will play a critical role in the Emergency Medical Services and Fire systems. Your primary responsibility will be to process emergency and non-emergency calls for service, dispatching ambulances and fire engines via radio in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls to determine the type of assistance needed and dispatch resources accordingly.
- Maintain a high standard of accountability and professionalism while providing excellent customer service.
- Provide medical dispatch instructions in accordance with the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch standards.
- Track and enter data for emergency and non-emergency calls using a computer-aided dispatch system.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to dispatch appropriate resources to community members in need of assistance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency dispatch, medical, or telecommunications experience, or 2 years of high-demand customer service experience.
- Strong reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
- Ability to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
- Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
