Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, defining, designing, and enhancing the technology that keeps us ahead of our audience. Team Dynamics
This position offers a chance to be part of a growing team within Audible's new hub. Our Creator Marketplace serves a variety of talented individuals, including storytellers, voice actors, producers, and internal content teams. We develop innovative tools that allow these creators to focus on their craft while ensuring their success in reaching a wide audience. By prioritizing our creators, we also enhance the experience for Audible's global consumers, helping them discover new content and stories.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and test software components and applications for one of the leading providers of audiobooks globally.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, develop, test, and launch impactful software solutions.
- Exhibit proficiency in a wide range of data structures and algorithms, applying them appropriately.
- Independently clarify technical requirements, evaluate development estimates, and implement various design approaches.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on code produced by team members.
- Mentor and guide developers, fostering curiosity and deep technical understanding.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, C#, or React, with a focus on object-oriented design.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in contributing to the architecture and design of both new and existing systems.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
- Proven ability to write clear, maintainable, and extensible code.
