The EA Digital Platform (EADP) group acts as the core of EA's global ecosystem, supporting a variety of high-level platforms such as Cloud, Commerce, Data, AI, Gameplay Services, Identity, and Social. By providing reusable capabilities to game teams, we empower them to concentrate on developing top-tier games and fostering meaningful connections with players. As the gaming industry transitions towards a live service-oriented model, creating an engaging Ads experience and linking relevant brands and advertisers with players is vital for EA's success. The AdTech team within EADP is focused on building advanced solutions that improve Ads lifecycle management workflows through efficient, scalable, and reliable services.

In the role of Senior Software Engineer, you will spearhead the development of EA AdTech and Platforming Engineering, reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Ads workflow
  • Assess integration opportunities among live service solutions, technology stacks, and vendor offerings
  • Lead the creation of essential components in the Ads lifecycle
  • Leverage large data sets to inform data-driven decision-making
  • Work alongside various teams to comprehend use cases and implement comprehensive solutions
  • Ensure adherence to legal and privacy regulations
  • Drive strategic vision and contribute industry expertise to the team
  • Design technical solutions and develop roadmaps
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Expertise in in-game live services, personalization, AdTech, and more
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale services with high performance and reliability
  • Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and software design
  • Experience in building distributed systems at scale
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures and data processing systems
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful customer experiences
