Job Overview

As a Senior Sales Consultant at Security Equipment Inc., you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through the development of new sales opportunities and the expansion of existing customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the security industry
  • Provide accurate quotes, proposals, and sales solutions to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Initiate and follow-up with customers and providers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, and provide reports
  • Deliver SEi new business revenues against quarterly targets
  • Build and manage pipeline against quarterly targets
  • Provide transparency to all activities via weekly and monthly reports
  • Maintain consistent achievement of personal performance standards
  • Create and maintain account strategies and plans where relevant, as requested by sales leadership
  • Maintain sufficient activity levels to consistently ensure pipeline growth, customer satisfaction, and a demonstrable commitment to personal achievement
  • Create and maintain a network of key decision-makers within accounts and SEi
  • Maintain to company standards, accurate and appropriate written documentation of sales projects, sales pipeline, and forecasts
  • Attend sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience (required)
  • Security industry experience (required)
  • Independent outside sales experience essential
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator
  • High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Knowledge of computer software, hardware, and network infrastructure a plus
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a pre-employment background/drug screening

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
