Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to oversee the operations of our off-site commissary kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and expertise in high-volume cooking. Key responsibilities include managing food preparation, menu development, and inventory control, as well as maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and production of food, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
  • Develop and implement menus, specify product standards, and maintain food inventories.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen, adhering to quality standards and protocols.
  • Foster the development of the food production team and utility/sanitation staff.
  • Oversee events for timely deliveries/pick-ups and food quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the culinary field, with a focus on high-volume, quality-oriented catering or restaurant environments.
  • Excellent volume cooking and presentation skills, with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our company.
