About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Senior Manager to join our Verizon Business Device Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of innovative products and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business customers.

Your primary focus will be on working closely with our device OEMs to align their business objectives with Verizon's direction and deliver results-driven solutions. You will leverage your product strategy background and business development acumen to drive collaboration, identify mutually beneficial opportunities, and develop strategic product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align on business needs and opportunities
  • Developing and executing product launch strategies to exceed Verizon's high-quality benchmarks
  • Managing schedules and collaborating with vendors to drive awareness and socialization of products
  • Providing front-line feedback and communicating device pros/cons to various OEMs across multiple product lines
  • Reviewing device COGS and pricing strategy to maximize Verizon sales and meet annual CV and sales metrics

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in product management, product development, portfolio strategy, or related field
  • Three or more years in the wireless/telecommunications or related field
  • Device experience specifically with purpose-built solutions (e.g. Routers / CPEs / Modems /smartphones / etc)

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Master's degree or MBA
  • Ability to translate market knowledge and tactical strategy into compelling use cases
  • Deep data and analytic expertise for evidence-based decision-making
  • Technical skills with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information to executives
