Distribution Key Account Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fueling sales growth and market expansion for INFICON in the Americas with our distribution partners in the areas of instrumentation, critical sensor technologies, and Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically plan and implement sales goals for the distribution partners to enable revenue and customer growth
- Develop and execute detailed plans to enable scale and facilitate successful relationships with our distribution partners
- Provide business units with feedback on competitive products, market trends, and application needs
- Assist with product line recommendations, pricing adjustments, and sales policy changes
- Support the development of territory sales and marketing plans
- Offer marketing assistance to the business line
- Support marketing activities in conjunction with our channel partners
- 4 years technical degree (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics)
- Understanding of the distribution channel and the value they bring
- 3-5 years of account management experience selling to scientific industries
- Consultative skills to identify areas of concern in customer manufacturing sites
- Challenger sales acumen and value selling competency
- Persistent and winning mentality
- Strong presentation skills and a solid grasp of our products and their potential applications
- Versed in software tools, encompassing CRM and MS Office applications
- Effective negotiation skills
- Proficient in project tracking to proactively tackle potential challenges
