We are seeking a highly skilled Private Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at First Horizon Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high net worth individuals and their related businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a client portfolio for the bank, expanding existing relationships and developing new ones to generate incremental revenue.
- Work with management and underwriters to analyze credit strengths and weaknesses of prospective borrowers and make loan decision recommendations.
- Collaborate with management to structure loans that protect the bank's interests and meet client needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to recognize client needs and match the bank's capabilities to meet those needs.
- Work with management to maintain a thorough knowledge of the bank's lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize multiple channels to solve client needs, including consumer, business banking, and commercial.
- Maintain proper house-holding of relationships and utilize the appropriate underwriting channel for clients.
- Continually upload financial information and client details into central repositories throughout the underwriting process.
- Prepare Opportunity Memos and work directly with underwriters to ensure accurate reflection of financials.
- Coordinate deal team meetings and work with other team members to ensure accuracy of underwriting packages.
- Create and finalize term sheets, commitment letters, and other loan documents.
- Work with management to coordinate credit decisions and ensure client adherence to covenants.
- Identify portfolio weaknesses and trends, and alert management to deteriorating portfolio conditions.
- Ensure receipt of all financial and covenant requirements of client relationships, managing exceptions as dictated by policy.
- Annual Review of client relationships and annual Risk Rating of client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in private banking or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
