Medical Assistant/RMA

Lexington Clinic is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/RMA to join our team. As a member of our patient care team, you will contribute to the health management of our patients, performing a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for Clinic patients. You will work under the direction and supervision of the Patient Care Manager, maintaining primary responsibility for all technical procedures and the operation and care of the nursing unit in the department.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for Clinic patients
* Work under the direction and supervision of the Patient Care Manager
* Maintain primary responsibility for all technical procedures and the operation and care of the nursing unit in the department

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Formal training from an accredited medical assistant program
* Current CPR certification
* Two years of broad experience with emphasis in family practice

**Physical Guidelines:**

* Ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position, and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day
* Lift, move, and transport patients, equipment, and supplies
* Motor coordination and manual dexterity
* Articulate speech
* Ability to read and understand orders
* Visual acuity
