About the Role

Cedar Park Med is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of the nursing process and deliver nursing services to promote health, foster healing, and support the coping and adjustment to various health conditions.
  • Perform activities of daily living for inmates while maintaining accountability in a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.
  • Observe, report, document, and communicate interventions, treatments, behaviors, emergent needs, and situations as they arise.
  • Assist with caring for the mental health and physical needs of inmates.
Requirements
  • Certified Medication Aide with a certificate to administer insulin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Correctional center experience preferred but not required.
