About the Role:
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive safety and environmental management system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to site leadership to improve site safety and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent injuries and illnesses
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
• Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement environmental management plans
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety and environmental procedures
• Manage and report on key EHS metrics and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in EHS in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with site leadership and employees
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and company policies
