EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our sustainability consultancy, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in achieving their environmental, health, and safety goals.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct site observations and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for mitigating hazards.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of EHS initiatives into business operations.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of EHS performance, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in emergency response planning and training to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in EHS compliance, with a strong background in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state health and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
