The Maintenance Director will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of maintenance operations at Frontier Management (OR) facilities. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, prioritize tasks, and ensure the facility is well-maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
Key Responsibilities- Department Management: Manage the operations of the Maintenance Department, adhering to proper staffing and scheduling of personnel.
- Facility Inspections: Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc. for upkeep and supply control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Participate in facility surveys made by authorized governmental agencies and ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations.
- Service Management: Ensure that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders.
- Preventative Maintenance: Assist in establishing a preventative maintenance program and meet with maintenance personnel on a regular basis to solicit advice and identify problem areas.
- Maintenance Functions: Identify, evaluate, and classify routine and job-related maintenance functions to ensure that tasks involving the potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded.
- Facility Rounds: Make daily rounds to assure that maintenance personnel are performing required duties and assure that appropriate maintenance procedures are being rendered to meet the needs of the facility.
- System Maintenance: Maintain fire alarm and other fire protection and preventive systems, complete carpentry and other building repairs within the scope of expertise, and maintain heating and cooling systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor, maintain, and record inventory and orders supplies as needed, ensuring supplies are available.
- Emergency Response: Be on call seven days a week, 24 hours a day for emergencies.
- Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
- Experience: Must have, as a minimum, one year experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance-related position.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and be licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Must possess leadership ability and ability to work in teams.
- Problem-Solving: Must possess the ability to plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction, and equipment installation.
