About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Driver to join our team at Oceans Healthcare. As a Patient Care Driver, you will play a critical role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients to various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement patient care activities under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, including fall protocol and one-to-one protocol.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Document patient observations and communicate with referral sources and patient families as needed.


Requirements:

A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred, with at least 6 months of experience working with psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions. They should also possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work under close supervision.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
