RN - Kings Hwy Patient Care Leader

This job is a leadership position in patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members effectively, assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes. They exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and maintain involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and departmental strategic goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively uses the Nursing Process in delivering patient care
- Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient populations
- Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources effectively
- Utilizes data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal patient outcomes
The incumbent works in a patient care area, directly with patients, and has an occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases. They must remain knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements that apply to their area of responsibility.
Earn a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
