Job Summary

Wexford Health Sources is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Physician to join our team. As a Staff Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, treat, and monitor inmate-patient acute and/or chronic medical issues
Ensure that the health care unit operation is in compliance with facility standards and that the scope of care provided is appropriate for the staffing and resources available
Participate in the development of proposed priorities for services and programs
Participate in discussions regarding the need for new chronic care programs, new medical equipment, and selection of general medical supplies and stock medications
Assist in the review of corporate, state, and site-specific medical practices to ensure consistency with Wexford Health's overriding objective to promote high-quality medical care

Requirements

Current New Hampshire Medical license required
Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license required
Current DEA required
Current CPR certification required
2 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred
