Job Summary

Sierra Health and Wellness is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical management of clients with substance use disorder, mental health conditions, and chronic medical conditions. You will assess clients, initiate or modify treatment within your scope of practice, and seek consultation with supervising physician staff when clinically indicated.

Responsibilities

- Assess clients and develop treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures and supervising physician staff.
- Initiate or modify treatment within your scope of practice and seek consultation with supervising physician staff when clinically indicated.
- Participate in treatment team meetings with multidisciplinary staff members and participate in treatment planning for assigned clients.

Requirements

- Current Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University required.
- Master's Degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program required.
- Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner by the California Board of Registered Nursing required.
- Certification from a national accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), required.
- Active Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license, or eligibility within 90-days of hire required.
- Active DEA number, or eligibility within 90-days of hire required.
