Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counselor to join our team at our residential mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs. As an On-Call Counselor, you will provide a range of services, including counseling, support, and advocacy, to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and the facility, while also supporting program operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and support services to clients with substance use disorders
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients and the facility
  • Support program operations and collaborate with the team
  • Provide transportation for clients to connect with community resources or appointments
  • May provide therapeutic crisis management and intervention services
  • File maintenance, incident reporting, and shift change reporting
  • General security checks and headcounts
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
  • 1+ year of related or lived experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time well
  • Valid driver's license/DMV background clearance required
  • Registered/Certified Addiction Specialist required
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) Competency
  • Computer literacy

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including medical and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
