Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counselor to join our team at our residential mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs. As an On-Call Counselor, you will provide a range of services, including counseling, support, and advocacy, to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and the facility, while also supporting program operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide counseling and support services to clients with substance use disorders
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients and the facility
- Support program operations and collaborate with the team
- Provide transportation for clients to connect with community resources or appointments
- May provide therapeutic crisis management and intervention services
- File maintenance, incident reporting, and shift change reporting
- General security checks and headcounts
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Respond to emails in a timely manner
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
- 1+ year of related or lived experience
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Valid driver's license/DMV background clearance required
- Registered/Certified Addiction Specialist required
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) Competency
- Computer literacy
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including medical and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
