Salary RangeThe estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality care to our patients in a school setting. As an LVN with Aveanna Healthcare, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.
- Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Provide hands-on nursing care, including medication administration, wound management, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions between home and school environments
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An active, unencumbered LVN license in the state where you will practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or home health
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
