Position Overview

As a Patient Intake Coordinator and Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our dedicated healthcare team.

Key Details:
  • Location: Various healthcare facilities
  • Work Hours: Flexible hours aligned with clinic operations; Monday - Thursday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Casual Part-Time
  • Schedule Requirements: A minimum of eight shifts each month, with each shift lasting at least four hours
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing patient care under the guidance of licensed healthcare professionals, including Physical and Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, or Master's-prepared Exercise Physiologists.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate registration of patients, adhering to insurance requirements and organizational protocols.
  • Handle incoming calls and effectively relay information to patients, healthcare providers, and staff members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, with additional coursework in medical insurance, terminology, and healthcare administration preferred.
  • Experience in hospital or clinic admissions, with proficiency in computer skills, medical terminology, and health insurance processing is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of direct patient care experience, particularly in orthopedics or cardiac care, is preferred.
  • Certification on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry is a plus.
