We are seeking a personable Guest Services Representative to deliver our renowned hospitality.

Your role will encompass the check-in process, offering a warm reception, and addressing ongoing inquiries and requests, ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending to guests, overseeing the check-in/check-out process, managing billing, verifying contact details, and responding to inquiries throughout their stay.
- Acting as an informed guide, ready to share insights about the hotel, its amenities, and the surrounding area.
- Communicating in a friendly and positive manner to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere among colleagues and provide an exceptional experience for guests.
- Establishing memorable connections with hotel guests in accordance with our service standards.

- Bringing clarity and personality to the registration process and guest arrivals, as well as check-outs, while actively listening to guest feedback and managing folios.

- Handling phone calls, emails, and other guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Entering guest information and payments into hotel management software, such as Opera.
- Collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
- Proactively identifying guest needs and discovering ways to surprise and delight patrons, encouraging repeat visits.

- Maintaining a sharp eye for detail, whether it be a misplaced item or a guest in need of assistance.

- Enforcing established policies and procedures with politeness.

- Effectively communicating guest requests or issues to the Front Desk Manager, Housekeeping, or Engineering, and conducting safety and cleanliness walkthroughs.

- Performing safety duties and adhering to established protocols in emergency situations.

- Assisting other departments as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable operation for guests and colleagues.

- Minimum of two years of experience in guest reception or a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide clear communication and directions.
- Capability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Clear thinker, able to remain calm and resolve issues with sound judgment.
- Ability to follow directions meticulously.
- Understanding of guest service needs.
- Ability to work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team.
- Capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and sensitive hotel data.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Requires mobility and the ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Minimum of two years of experience in guest reception or a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
