Job Summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative/Diet Tech to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process diets and nourishment order requests in our computer system to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist patients with placing meal and snack orders, taking into consideration any food allergies, cultural preferences, and CMC therapeutic diets restrictions.
  • Deliver patient meals and nourishments according to AIDET guidelines and ensure meal satisfaction.
  • Remove soiled patient trays and maintain sanitation of meal carts and food service areas.
  • Perform first in, first out and accurately document food temperatures.
  • Maintain courteous, considerate, cooperative, and accurate communication with facility personnel, patients, and families.
  • Attend department meetings and in-services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience with one-on-one customer service interaction and computer data entry experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand/walk frequently.
