About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Platinum Dermatology Partners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dermatology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in preparing for exams and procedures
  • Enter medical histories and prescriptions into our electronic medical record system
  • Support physicians during procedures and surgeries
  • Prepare and collect path/lab specimens
  • Provide education and respond to patient questions
  • Document medical instructions and maintain accurate records
  • Clean and organize exam rooms, prepare procedure trays, and maintain equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Medical Assistant certification required
  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Medical assistant or dermatology technician certification required
  • Prior Mohs experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general Mohs procedures and treatment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
