The Department of Dermatology at the University of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a full-time or part-time, tenure-track or non-tenure-track, open rank Professor of Dermatology specializing in Mohs Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students, providing direct patient care, and participating in scholarly activities.

About the Department

The University of Virginia Department of Dermatology, founded in 1924, is the oldest dermatology department in the South. Our mission is to enrich the quality of human life by improving health, producing excellent and compassionate care for our patients, advancing the field of dermatology, seeking medical and scientific knowledge, and creating an environment for professional preparation of individuals dedicated to healthcare service in the field of Dermatology.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • ABMS board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology
  • Fellowship trained in Mohs Surgery
  • Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
