Lecturer for Human Development and Family Studies

The University of California, Davis, is seeking a qualified Lecturer for Human Development and Family Studies to teach courses in the Human Development and Family Studies Unit of the Department of Human Ecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more lecture, lab, and/or practicum courses in the Human Development and Family Studies Unit.
Responsibilities- Teach one or more lecture, lab, and/or practicum courses in the Human Development and Family Studies Unit of the Department of Human Ecology.
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Provide instruction and guidance to students, including office hours, advising, and mentoring.
- Assess student learning and progress, including grading and providing feedback.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Human Development and Family Studies and incorporate relevant research and best practices into teaching and course development.
- Appropriate professional degree, e.g. in psychology, human development, or equivalent discipline.
- Evidence of teaching excellence or potential for excellence.
- A developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to a subject area described in this announcement.
- Ph.D. in psychology, human development, or equivalent discipline.
