Lecturer in Human Development

We are seeking a qualified Lecturer in Human Development to join our team at the University of California, Davis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Responsibilities
The Lecturer will be expected to teach a variety of courses, including lectures, labs, and practicum courses. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing course materials, as well as assessing student learning outcomes. Additionally, the Lecturer will contribute to the department's research and service activities, and participate in departmental and university-wide committees.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Development or a related field, and a strong background in teaching and research. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff. A Ph.D. in Human Development or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching courses in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as a strong record of research and publication in the field. Additionally, experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are highly desirable.
