Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Admin with 2 years of experience in payroll administration to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity located in Farmingdale, New York.
Responsibilities:- Resolve payroll discrepancies by balancing payroll accounts and ensuring all errors are addressed promptly.
- Calculate payroll taxes and liabilities for both employees and employers, including federal and state income taxes, social security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
- Prepare and assist with documentation for union audits, covering over 30 unions.
- Maintain smooth payroll operations by ensuring compliance with company policies and reporting any necessary procedural updates.
- Generate special reports for management, along with regular weekly and monthly union-related payroll summaries.
- Administer garnishments, employment verification requests, and handle unemployment-related paperwork.
- Manage the ordering and distribution of union benefit stamps and remittance processing.
- Conduct audits of HR and payroll documents, including W-4 forms and I-9 verifications, to ensure compliance.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent analytical skills. Experience in accounting or finance internships is also preferred.
