Position Summary

The Workers Compensation Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting management with the administration and oversight of Human Resources and Safety policies, ensuring adherence to federal and state employment and safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Above-average analytical abilities are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to management, including organizing meetings, managing appointments, processing expense reports, and summarizing meeting notes.
  • Establish and maintain records and reports for Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Fleet incidents.
  • Oversee and update HR, Compliance, and Safety tracking systems.
  • Collect information related to employee relations matters.
  • Document and report incidents and accidents accurately.
  • Support the administration and reporting within the Case Management System.
  • Assist with compliance reporting for OSHA, DOL, DOT, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Help organize and maintain employee records efficiently.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding Employee Relations, Compliance, and Safety issues.
  • Facilitate the implementation of Human Resources, Compliance, and Safety policies and initiatives.
  • Conduct HR and Safety audits to ensure compliance and mitigate employment risks.
