The Workers Compensation Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting management with the administration and oversight of Human Resources and Safety policies, ensuring adherence to federal and state employment and safety regulations.
Qualifications- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong skills in conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Above-average analytical abilities are essential for this role.
- Provide administrative assistance to management, including organizing meetings, managing appointments, processing expense reports, and summarizing meeting notes.
- Establish and maintain records and reports for Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Fleet incidents.
- Oversee and update HR, Compliance, and Safety tracking systems.
- Collect information related to employee relations matters.
- Document and report incidents and accidents accurately.
- Support the administration and reporting within the Case Management System.
- Assist with compliance reporting for OSHA, DOL, DOT, and other regulatory agencies.
- Help organize and maintain employee records efficiently.
- Respond to inquiries regarding Employee Relations, Compliance, and Safety issues.
- Facilitate the implementation of Human Resources, Compliance, and Safety policies and initiatives.
- Conduct HR and Safety audits to ensure compliance and mitigate employment risks.
