This position will focus on ensuring optimal product availability, overseeing inventory levels, and fostering innovative approaches in forecasting and allocation to meet the company's financial objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Formulate strategic plans at various levels, including department, class, and product, to align with the company's financial goals and merchandising strategies across all platforms.

2. Enhance inventory management through effective planning, purchasing, and assortment management across different channels and warehouses to achieve sales targets while minimizing inventory risks.

3. Supervise inventory allocation to guarantee optimal stock levels and efficient distribution across all channels.

4. Collaborate with operations and channel leaders on inventory optimization by warehouse and lead efforts for inventory rebalancing based on sales forecasts.

5. Direct and execute pricing and promotional markdown strategies to boost revenue, manage inventory efficiently, and support timely investments for key initiatives.

6. Conduct monthly Open-to-Buy (OTB) reviews and modify inventory strategies to facilitate timely investments and support essential programs.

7. Assess and incorporate advanced technology and business intelligence tools to improve forecasting precision and inventory management.

8. Develop tools and dashboards to enhance workflow execution and drive key performance indicators (KPIs).


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 10-15 years of experience in merchandise planning and multi-location allocation within specialty retail.
• Strong capabilities in tool development, visualizations, and innovative solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of retail mathematics, including markup, margin planning, selling, and inventory productivity metrics.
• MBA degree is preferred.
• Experience in the apparel sector is advantageous.
• Background in wholesale planning is beneficial.
