Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technician II

UW Medicine Primary Care at Belltown is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician II to join our team. This is a full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) position with a convenient location near public transportation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and stat laboratory tests utilizing automated or semi-automated equipment, kit assays, and microscopic evaluations.
  • Organize the workload to meet service demands, calmly, efficiently, and without direct supervision.
  • Participate in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees in coordination with the CLT Lead.
  • May send out letters to patients, as delegated by clinic leadership, with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments.
Requirements:
  • Active Washington State MA-Phlebotomist Certification required.
  • High School / GED.
  • Minimum one-year relevant experience or training in a clinical laboratory or medical setting.
