Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our expanding Powell Automation Division (PAD). This role offers an opportunity for professional development while playing a key part in enhancing PAD's presence in the automation industry.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of our engineering team, you will:
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop tailored and semi-custom drawing packages utilizing AutoCAD for automation solutions and intelligent products in HMI/SCADA applications.
- Design various automation control panels under guidance.
- Interpret customer job specifications accurately.
- Generate detailed Bills of Materials for automation control panels.
- Create and transmit electrical AutoCAD drawings to the shop and clients.
- Interface with project management and customers alongside supervisors.
- Ensure tasks are reviewed by senior engineers.
- Maintain coordination with Project Management throughout projects.
- Communicate regularly with production to address inquiries and clarify design changes.
- Adhere to standard engineering processes and timelines while managing multiple projects based on priority.
- Provide technical support to sales, engineering, and inspection teams as needed.
- Assist in resolving issues faced by other production engineers daily.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering capacity.
- Advanced skills in drafting and CAD.
- Proficiency in electrical design, circuitry, and communication circuitry.
- Basic understanding of power systems and HMI/SCADA applications.

Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer skills including Oracle, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and utilize Primavera P6 for project status updates.
- Competence in reading customer specifications and providing technical feedback to project management.
- Familiarity with NEC, ANSI/IEEE, and other relevant codes applicable to daily activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to interpret and address customer needs.

Working Conditions
