Position Overview:

As a Senior I&C Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Creation and evaluation of I&C engineering documentation, such as datasheets, cable schedules, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, location plans, loop diagrams, system architecture drawings, I/O lists, alarm lists, control narratives, and requisitioning documentation.
  2. Conducting SIL verification and participating in HAZOP, LOPA, and Alarm Rationalization studies.
  3. Designing switchgear, panel schedules, and motor schematics.
  4. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design team members.
  5. Collaborating with project teams to ensure alignment of I&C design with project specifications and standards.
  6. Engaging in project meetings and reviews to address all I&C project aspects effectively.
  7. Working with other disciplines to develop integrated and efficient design solutions.
  8. Offering support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior I&C Engineer role should possess:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in I&C Engineering, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector.
  3. Extensive experience in developing and reviewing I&C engineering documents.
  4. Experience with SIL verification, HAZOP, LOPA, Alarm Rationalization, and switchgear design.
  5. A strong grasp of control systems and their applications in engineering.
  6. Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical concepts.
  8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
  9. Proficiency in various engineering software applications.
  10. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
