Job Description

Job Title: Retail Banker II

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Banker II to join our team. As a Retail Banker II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships with clients, and providing expert advice on banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the store, providing customers with expert advice on banking solutions and products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Make product recommendations based on customer needs, highlighting features and benefits that meet their goals.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships, consistently displaying product knowledge and actively listening to customer needs.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively identify customer solutions and lead-focused outbound sales activities.
  • Evaluate issues, errors, and problems based on practices and existing precedents or procedures, independently resolving customer problems when necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve customer outcomes.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Cross-trained to take customer transactions upon hire.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to provide community services, including financial education classes.
  • Notary license preferred.
