Role Overview
As a Lead or Principal Architect at BCG Platinion, you will be instrumental in addressing business challenges through innovative design. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, researchers, technical specialists, and consultants to craft leading IT concepts and architectural solutions. Your role will leverage your technical expertise, business acumen, and analytical skills to facilitate organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert, employing critical thinking and extensive IT knowledge to develop innovative solutions.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence, guiding teams through undefined paths.
- Act as a change agent, driving organizational change by aligning teams with new processes and tools.
- Advocate for agile methodologies, utilizing your expertise to address complex challenges and implement effective changes.
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams, establishing strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Innovate by applying deep IT architecture knowledge to create new design patterns for advanced technology solutions.
- Provide knowledgeable insights as both a hands-on practitioner and a subject matter expert in IT architecture.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with over 4 years in an architectural role.
- Exceptional technical knowledge, engineering rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to articulate complex technology concepts to senior executives.
- Extensive expertise in various technology stacks, cloud-native applications, integration methodologies, and more.
- Experience with agile engineering practices and tools.
- A proactive mindset that seeks to overcome obstacles and drive iterative improvements in architecture capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to collaborate with clients and BCG teams.
