IDR, Inc. is in search of an Information Security Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a prominent client in the retail sector. This position presents a distinctive chance to engage with a rapidly expanding organization that is enhancing its infrastructure and operational processes. The ideal candidate will be tasked with safeguarding the corporate information assets of our client, optimizing and configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across various technologies, and developing as well as maintaining comprehensive DLP Program documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and sustaining Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and tools.
  • Conducting data protection monitoring and generating reports.
  • Collaborating with vendors to implement and support DLP technology.
  • Maintaining DLP technology, configuring policies, and compiling analytical reports.
  • Monitoring and responding to alerts from DLP systems and other technologies.
  • Understanding incident response processes, including investigation, analysis, and remediation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field with security tools management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Familiarity with DLP, CASB, data encryption, monitoring tools, and data protection best practices.
  • Proficient in software tools such as Netskope, Proofpoint, and M365.
  • A solid understanding of information security and network fundamentals.
