We are seeking a proficient and seasoned Lead Cloud Security Architect to become a vital part of our team in Nashville, TN. This role requires an on-site presence and offers a competitive salary of up to $115,000/year. The perfect candidate will possess a solid foundation in IT security, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year of practical experience in cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, execute, and oversee comprehensive security frameworks for cloud infrastructures.
- Perform security evaluations and audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities and opportunities for enhancement.
- Create and uphold security protocols and practices to guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and react to security incidents, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to embed security best practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Remain informed about emerging security threats and technologies, offering recommendations for improvements.
- Leverage CNAPP tools to bolster the security posture of cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the security team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT security.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
- Robust understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Expertise in conducting security evaluations, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with CNAPP tools and their application in securing cloud environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
