Job Title: Psychiatrist- Suffolk County Jail Project Specialist
Location: Suffolk County Jail
About the Position:
Boston Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team as part of a novel dual diagnosis program launching within Suffolk County Jail.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric care to pre-trial male detainees
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered holistic care
- Participate in program development and evaluation
Requirements:
- Medical Degree
- Experience in dual diagnosis and/or forensic work desired but not required
- Board eligible/certified in psychiatry
